Here’s how it all began… We (Brian and Mackenzie - Founders) met when we both worked for one of the largest production homebuilders in the state. During a prolific period of building, together we launched a dozen new communities in 24 months – selling hundreds of homes. With that volume, you get to see the good and the bad; the efficiencies and the challenges.  What became perfectly clear during that period was the following:          

• Customers value quality materials and workmanship
• Building a home can be a stressful process
• Most builders accept the status quo, and don’t strive for excellence
• New home construction is a professional service – why not treat it as such?

This is not about what we've done, but what we PLAN TO DO.

Fast forward to 2010, during the middle of biggest housing slump we've seen in generations.  Despite these almost unimaginable headwinds, we had the confidence to start a building company in a little corner of Albuquerque.  With big dreams, naive optimism, and a heartfelt desire to change our industry, we set off on the voyage of our lives. On Easter weekend of 2010 we started Abrazo Homes with a simple Mission… “Do it Right”.  Since that time, our company has grown, our team has multiplied, but our vision has never wavered.  We still believe in a better way, and we passionately pursue it from the second we get out of bed every morning.
