Our new home builders want you to start enjoying your home as soon as possible—not in 6 months to 1 year—so we build your home within 3 to 4 months. The following is a general layout of the construction process, but details and timeframes may change based on your choices:
- Choose your floor plan.
- Select your home site.
- Complete the purchase agreement.
- Select your home’s color scheme and decorator options at our design center.
- Attend a meeting with your mortgage company and submit a formal loan application—usually 60-90 minutes.
- You will be asked to present documentation of income and assests.
- A credit report will be completed.
- When we receive your loan approval from the mortgage company, we begin construction.
- The loan process prior to the start of construction can take as little as one day!
- Construction begins and will take approximately 3 months.
- Around the halfway mark of construction, we conduct a frame walk with you to ensure that your new home is being built to your preferences.
- Approximately 30 days before completion, we send notification to you and your mortgage company to prepare for closing.
- To ensure that nothing has changed, you may be asked to present current documentation of income, citizenship and credit.
- Just a few days after completion, you are able to move in and discover the beauty of your new home.
- 45 days after completion, we conduct a walk-through to address any issues.
